As a Medication Aide, you will be responsible for assisting nursing staff in the administration of medications to residents, as well as providing daily living assistance and support. Responsibilities:

• Assist nursing staff in administering medications to residents, as directed
• Provide daily living assistance, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with mobility and ambulation of residents
• Document medication administration and resident care in accordance with facility policies
• Participate in care planning and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents

Requirements:

• Certified Medication Aide certification in the state of Texas
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and patient with a focus on delivering exceptional resident care
