Location: Crest View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center - New Lisbon, WI

Schedules Available:

• Part-time 2, 37.5 hours per pay period; Day Shift
• Part-time 2, 15 hours per pay period; Day or PM Shift
• Part-time 2, 30 hours per pay period; PM Shift
• Part-time 1, 60 hours per pay period; PM Shift
• Full-time 75 hours per pay period; PM Shift
• Full-time 75 hours per pay period; Mixed Day & PM Shift (Days Weekend)

Weekend rotation: Every other weekend

Holiday rotation: Every other holiday

Additional information: Up to a $7,500 sign on bonus for full-time hires

Position Summary: The Nursing Home Registered Nurse position assists with day-to-day nursing activities. This is an important role that requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional healthcare.

Position Responsibilities:

• Timely communication to physicians, families, etc. of significant changes in resident condition
• Complete all applicable resident assessments
• Complete medication administration while following the 5 Rights
• Perform wound care and assessments as needed
• Assist CNAs with answering call lights
• Monitor residents for changes in condition
• Act as leader on the floor by assessing and directing situations as needed
• Report any allegations of abuse, neglect or misappropriation to Director of Nursing and Administrator
• Maintain accurate resident records with thorough and accurate charting
• Perform other duties as requested.

Position Requirements:

• Two-year degree in nursing required. Four-year degree in nursing preferred.
• Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• 1+ years of related work experience preferred.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Intermediate proficiency with computers is required
• Comprehensive nursing skills and knowledge of equipment such as retinal scanners, EKG, etc.
• Thorough understanding of triage.
• Understanding of lab procedures and equipment.
• Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to have continuous oral and written communication with co-workers, patients, and supervisors is essential.
