RN - Operating Room (OR)

This is for the Selma location. Please note all Central Valley Network facilities require floating. She could float to Hanford, Reedley, and Tulare. There are 8 call shifts per month with one weekend call every 5-6 weeks. Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment. This department includes all functions related to operating room services, including intraoperative patient care. It also may include perfusion services, inpatient and/or outpatient services, and other operating room support functions. It does not include PACU, anesthesia functions, pre op holding, and/or central sterile functions. If your department is operating as a combined department with all surgery services combined, please notify FP&A and we can map it to "Surgical Services Combined Without Anesthesia" to provide you with an appropriate benchmark.
