What You’ll Do Lead advanced tax planning and advisory engagements for closely held businesses and high-net-worth clients Review complex business tax returns including S-Corps and Partnerships Build and improve tax workflows, systems, and processes Mentor and support junior tax staff Collaborate closely with leadership and accounting/advisory teams Help shape the long-term direction of the tax practice Serve as a trusted year-round advisor to clients What Makes This Opportunity Different Remote-first, highly flexible work environment Significant autonomy and decision-making authority Opportunity to build processes instead of inheriting outdated systems Entrepreneurial, growth-oriented culture No requirement to bring a book of business Real leadership and ownership upside Collaborative environment focused on responsiveness, trust, and client value What We’re Looking For Active CPA license required 6+ years of public accounting experience Strong business tax and advisory background Experience with closely held businesses and/or high-net-worth clients Strong communication and client relationship skills Comfortable operating in evolving, fast-paced environments Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset Leadership or mentorship experience preferred Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation package targeting approximately $130K–$170K total compensation Bonus and profit-sharing opportunities Long-term leadership and potential ownership path Flexible remote work environment High-autonomy culture with strong work/life flexibility Preferred Locations Strong preference for candidates located in or near: St. George, UT Cedar City, UT Salt Lake City, UT Las Vegas, NV Phoenix / Scottsdale, AZ This role is primarily remote, with occasional in-person collaboration expected.
