About the Position

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week) | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every other weekend required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
• Float to the Clinical Decision Unit as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to all facility protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Prior Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Candidates must not reside within a local commutable distance to the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating to or working in a Clinical Decision Unit setting
• Strong triage and critical thinking skills in high-acuity emergency environments
