Pay Rate: $65 - $71/hr (Based on Experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to provide care across ICU, IMCU, ED holds, and Medical-Surgical units as part of a dedicated Critical Care Float Pool.

Required Qualifications

• Active New York RN license required at the time of submission.

• 2+ years of ICU/Critical Care nursing experience.

• Travel nursing experience required.

• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required.

• NURSYS report and verification of all active RN licenses required.

• Epic EMR experience preferred/required.

• Willingness to float to ICU, IMCU, ED holds, and Medical-Surgical units.

• Ability to manage 6–7 patients when assigned to Medical-Surgical units.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients across multiple hospital units.

• Float to ICU, IMCU, ED holds, and Medical-Surgical units as required.

• Manage complex patients with conditions including stroke, sepsis, respiratory failure, CHF, post-STEMI, cardiogenic shock, trauma, and major post-operative conditions.

• Provide care for patients requiring IABP, CRRT, ventilators, ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM.

• Provide care for cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical patients, including CTICU cases.

• Manage 6–7 patient assignments when floated to Medical-Surgical units.

• Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Follow hospital policies, safety standards, infection-control procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Adapt to different units, patient populations, and clinical assignments within the Critical Care Float
