Office Assistant - Calhoun UC PRN

Position Overview Front Office Assistant – Part time (20 hours per week) at the 02190 FLMG Calhoun Immediate Care location. Shifts vary according to PRN needs. Pay range: $18.85 – $28.30 per hour. Responsibilities The Front Office Assistant is responsible for all clerical functions related to the business operations of the medical practice, including telephone duties, scheduling, filing, copying, and other administrative tasks. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED from an accredited institute required; two‑year post‑secondary course for medical office assistant preferred. Experience: Prior front‑desk experience in a medical office setting. Knowledge: Medical terminology and ICD‑9/CPT coding required; experience with medical office information systems, electronic billing, and automated functions preferred. Skills: Accurate typing and filing; strong verbal and written communication; commitment to customer service; ability to communicate effectively with all customers and age groups.
