Registered Nurse , Surgery, Full Time

Responsibilities Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services, the Recovery Room Registered Nurse receives patients from the Operating Room and other ancillary departments. They monitor vital signs, make necessary interventions as prescribed within the scope of nursing by surgeon or anesthesiologist. They may also assist in transport of patients to outpatient surgery and surgical floors, assist with monitoring IV sedation and local cases in the Operating Room, and provide competent care for patients throughout the lifespan, from infancy through geriatric. Qualifications Current California RN License required. Current BLS (CPR) certificate required. Current A.C.L.S. certificate preferred. One year prior OR experience preferred. C.N.O.R. preferred.
