RMF / Information Assurance Manager

Overview

Apogee Engineering is looking for an experienced RMF / Information Assurance Manager that can provide senior-level leadership of information assurance and Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities for NASIC systems. This position ensures systems meet applicable cybersecurity and accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead RMF activities across the system lifecycle, including categorization, control selection, implementation, assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring.
Develop and maintain information assurance documentation (System Security Plans, POA&Ms, security assessment reports, etc.).
Coordinate with system owners, engineers, and security stakeholders to ensure compliance with DoD and Air Force cybersecurity policies.
Assess security risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Support accreditation decisions by providing technical and programmatic IA input.
Provide guidance and mentorship to IA and cybersecurity staff.

Qualifications

MinimumExperience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: TS/SCI Certifications: CISSP or DoD 8140-compliant certification Education / Years of Experience:

Minimum ten (10) years of experience in information assurance, cybersecurity, or related functional area.
Education: Master’s degree in cybersecurity, information assurance, computer science, or related field
Extensive experience leading RMF and IA activities for DoD or similar systems.
