About the Position

Job Title: Dietitian Profession: Dietary Services Specialty: Nutrition Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: 2 years preferred, 1 year required License: State license required Certifications: RD Must-Have: - Cerner charting system experience required - Previous charge experience preferred Description: 1st time travelers are considered. A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred. A start date before the end of October is preferred. Registered Dietitian (RD) state license is required. The position may involve a variety of patient conditions and nutritional needs. Knowledge of specialized dietary guidelines is essential. Candidates should be skilled in conducting nutrition assessments and developing treatment plans. Experience with enteral nutrition and total parenteral nutrition is beneficial. Candidates should demonstrate competency in managing chronic illnesses such as diabetes and kidney disease. Familiarity with health conditions requiring specific dietary modifications is necessary. A broad understanding of therapeutic diet orders is important. The ability to work with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care is expected. Candidates must be adaptable to various patient age groups, including neonates, infants, children, adults, and geriatrics. Experience with electronic health records is crucial. Openness to learning and flexibility in a dynamic work environment is a plus.
