FLORAL TRADE DISTRIBUTORS LLC is looking for a reliable and experienced Class A Commercial Driver with a valid TWIC Card to join our team in Vista, CA. This is a great opportunity to be a key part of a fast-moving distribution operation where your skills behind the wheel truly matter. If you take pride in safe, on-time delivery and professional service, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities:
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport cargo between the Port of Long Beach and the San Diego area.
- Access secure port and restricted facilities using a valid TWIC Card as required
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of freight while maintaining proper documentation
- Maintain communication with dispatch and management regarding route status and any delays
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic and transportation laws
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Active Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Card) required
- Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety
- Experience operating Class A vehicles in a commercial distribution/port environment - Minimum 2 years.
- Ability to meet DOT / FMCSA compliance standards
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines
- Ability to lift and handle freight, including perishable products
