About the Role Director, Procurement CCPM MedTech – Located in New Brunswick, NJ or Spring House, PA. Responsibilities Lead a team of eight (8) experienced Managers/Sr. Managers and manage approximately $1B in annual capital spend for J&J MedTech companies. Develop and shape category and spend performance strategies using tools such as category strategy, market intelligence, and advanced sourcing. Provide procurement leadership to stakeholders and business partners, coordinating with engineering, QA, SCM, finance, legal and external partners to design and execute sourcing, supplier selection, and supplier relationship initiatives. Drive cost improvement/avoidance initiatives through category strategies, sourcing, supplier relationship management, and innovation. Contribute to J&J’s sustainability and emissions‑reduction commitments. Build strong, sustainable relationships with market leaders in construction and project management (e.g., Jacobs Engineering, PM Group, Schneider Electric, JCI). Shape and enhance the competence and capabilities of the procurement team. Build a highly competent and diverse team to partner effectively and efficiently with business partners. Qualifications / Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Business, Engineering, Science); MBA or other master’s preferred. 10+ years of relevant professional experience. Exposure to MedTech and/or global markets is desirable. Strategic procurement, sourcing, category and supplier management experience in a supply chain environment. Experience working with technical, supply chain, and functional partners. Strong business and finance acumen, with experience managing impact in a complex matrix environment. Demonstrated team leadership, partnership, and cross‑functional project capability. Ability to engage, interact, and negotiate enhanced value relationships with suppliers. Experience in a regulated, complex stakeholder environment with rich influencing skills. Benefits and Compensation Base pay range: $150,000 – $258,750. Eligible for the company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and 401(k) savings plan. Eligible for the long‑term incentive program. Vacation: 120 hours per calendar year. Sick time: 40 hours per calendar year (48 hours in Colorado, 56 hours in Washington). Holiday pay including floating holidays: 13 days per calendar year. Work, personal and family time: up to 40 hours per calendar year. Parental leave: 480 hours within one year of birth/adoption/foster care. Bereavement leave: 240 hours for an immediate family member; 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year. Caregiver leave: 80 hours in a 52‑week rolling period.
