TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Atlanta, Georgia, 30322!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: NOC Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months in specialty within the past 3 years License: GA or compact license in hand Certifications: CCRN preferred Must-Have: - Experience with arterial lines and pulmonary artery catheters - Ability to accommodate LVADs and manage 2-4 drips - Proficient in caring for presurgical patients Description: This is a 12-bed, 24-hour observation unit for heart and vascular care. Patients will include low acuity critical care individuals awaiting placement in stepdown units. No ventilators or CRRT will be accepted in this unit. The unit will serve as an observation area for patients coming in for same-day procedures that may need extended monitoring. This position will provide exposure to a fast-paced environment with a high volume of patient turnover. There will be a wide variety of patient diagnoses. It offers an excellent learning platform for cardiovascular procedures and conditions. Working here will enhance organizational skills and critical thinking. The position will also develop critical care skills and fine-tune assessment abilities. A rhythm identification test will be required upon starting. This test will be proctored, and there will be two attempts available.
