Structural Steel Welder
Sioux Falls, SD | Full-Time | In Person | Monday through Friday
About This Role
Egger Steel Company has served the Upper Midwest as a trusted structural steel fabricator for over 80 years. We are looking for a skilled welder to join our team in Sioux Falls, SD. This is a full-time, permanent position with no weekend or night shifts, and competitive pay. Responsibilities
Weld structural steel components including beams, columns, and assemblies to project specifications and industry standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to select the proper welding techniques and materials.
Operate, set up, and maintain welding equipment following all safety guidelines.
Inspect and test completed welds to verify strength, quality, and code compliance.
Maintain accurate records including weld logs, certifications, and reports.
Work alongside fabricators, fitters, and project leads in a productive shop environment.
Requirements
1 year of welding experience preferred (all skill levels are welcome to apply)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
Must pass a background check and shop physical

Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:20 PM (45 hours per week)
