Medical Center is looking for 1-2 more Emergency Medicine Physician to fill their Locum need!

Schedule:

Open FTE = Open shift coverage
Shift length: 9- & 12-hour shifts
On Call: None

Details:

Inpatient Responsibilities: No
Outreach: No
Number of Physicians: 1-2 Physician cover day hours. 1 Physician covers night hours.
Number of Advanced Practice Providers: 1-2
Supervision of APP(s) expected: Yes
Clinic Provider Daily Volume: ED Volume average 77 patients per day
Job Responsibilities: ED Physician coverage
EMR: EPIC
Teaching Opportunity: teaching hospital
Trauma Level 3
250 beds
33,000 annual visits
Peak shifts/busiest is during 11a-11p
Transfer out less than 3% of patients

Open Shifts:

Average of 15 open shifts per month - first come first serve

Submission Requirements

Must be able to cover a significant # of shifts from our list of opens - Required at name clear
Ability to get them privileged quickly no lengthy work histories (cred staff goes back 10 years) - Required at name clear
Board Certified ABEM only - Required at name clear
Clean background - Required, note at time of name clear
Active IA License or IMLC - Required
ATLS required for trauma privileges - Required
