Surgical Tech

We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join a highly specialized fertility and reproductive surgery center in Manhattan. This role offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art outpatient setting supporting minimally invasive procedures focused on fertility preservation, reproductive health, and gynecologic surgery.

Job Function:

• Full-time schedule (4 days per week): 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM shifts
• Must work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; rotating Monday/Friday schedule; every other weekend required
• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields for fertility and reproductive procedures (e.g., hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, egg retrieval support procedures)
• Assist surgeons during minimally invasive gynecologic and fertility-related surgeries
• Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments with precision and efficiency
• Set up and manage specialized reproductive surgical instruments and equipment
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols, critical in fertility-focused care
• Perform accurate instrument, sponge, and sharps counts
• Assist with specimen handling related to reproductive procedures
• Support efficient room turnover in a high-volume outpatient environment
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia teams to optimize patient outcomes and experience

Job Requirements:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - REQUIRED
• Certification through NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting)
• Minimum 1+ year of surgical tech experience preferred
• Experience in OB/GYN, fertility, IVF, or minimally invasive surgery strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical protocols
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented surgical environment
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
