Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:

Provide specialized respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients in a hospital setting. Collaborate with medical teams to deliver effective airway management and ventilator support while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer respiratory treatments and therapies such as oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and ventilator management.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust protocols as needed.
  
  
• 
  Operate and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop and implement patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current knowledge of respiratory therapy practices and emerging healthcare technologies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
  
  
• 
  BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS and NRP preferred for pediatric cases.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy, including ICU, NICU, or PICU settings.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, weekdays and rotating weekends.
  
  
• 
  Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a healthcare team.
