Collections ClerkSirius Staffing is seeking a contract Collections Clerk to support the accounts receivable and collections function for one of our clients working onsite in Tampa, FL. This position will manage business-to-business customer accounts, collect outstanding balances, resolve billing issues, and help ensure timely payment of invoices. Schedule: Mon - Fri, onsite 9a-5:30pKey ResponsibilitiesReview aging reports and manage accounts with balances over 30 days past due.Contact B2B customers by phone and email regarding outstanding invoices and payment status.Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and customer inquiries.Document collection efforts, payment commitments, and account activity accurately.Work with Sales, Customer Service, Billing, and other internal teams to resolve account issues.Assist with account reconciliations and unapplied cash research.Escalate unresolved disputes or delinquent accounts to management as needed.Maintain accurate and confidential customer and financial records.Prepare documentation as requested for audits.Perform general administrative duties and other responsibilities as assigned.QualificationsPrevious experience in B2B collections, accounts receivable, billing, or a related accounting function preferred.Experience working with aging reports and past-due commercial accounts preferred.Knowledge of Great Plains or similar accounting/ERP software is a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.Strong math, problem-solving, and account reconciliation skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple accounts, and meet deadlines.Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling financial information.Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.Sirius Staffing connects talented professionals with opportunities across a variety of industries.
