The Maintenance Director oversees all maintenance of the Apartment units and Office Clubhouse. Being reliable with attention to detail is the first step to becoming a Maintenance Director. The intention is to ensure the company facilities are maintained and sufficient to support the company’s business operations. (Required) Responsibilities Assigning Tasks, creating processes for assigning, completing and reporting on maintenance requests. Hiring and training new employees. Inspectingsystemssuchasplumbing,heatingandHVACsystems. Ensurehealthandsafetypoliciesarecomplaint. Monitorequipmentinventoryandplaceorderswhennecessary. Perform any special projects assigned by the Community Director Direct and oversee all aspects of the Maintenance Department, including but not limited to:budgeting,scheduling, training, qualitycontrol,safetyandcompliance. Coordinate communication between management and staff regarding the status ofmaintenanceprojects Inspectbuildingfor signsofstructuraldamageorotherissuesthat couldbeasafetyviolation. Coordinatewithcontractorstotakepreventativemaintenanceupdates. All other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications Proven experience with maintenance repairs or management. Knowledgeoffacilitiesmachines andequipment Solidunderstandingoftechnicalaspectsofplumbing,carpentry,andelectrical systems. Abilitytomaintainleadershipskillsthroughalldailytasks Experienceinplanningmaintenanceoperations. Must beavailable toworkweekends,evening,andholidays asscheduled.
