Maintenance Associate

Position Purpose Maintain the hotel's guest and lobby areas in accordance with the spirit of the hotel and company standards by performing preventive maintenance and repairs as necessary. Ensure the hotel maintenance quality standards are achieved and maintained, while embodying the hotel’s mission statement, values, and culture at all times. Qualifications 1+ years of experience in a branded, quality hotel (preferred) Working knowledge of electricity, AC, plumbing, and preventive maintenance High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred Strong professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness Excellent attendance and punctuality Work Environment & Physical Requirements Ability to stand for eight hours, bend, stretch, and reach; lift or carry up to 60 pounds; push or pull 100 pounds May work long hours; schedule may vary and include occasional work at holidays, weekends, or evenings Ability to work in all weather conditions Skills & Abilities Familiarity with the entire property, staff services, room types, and operating hours Understanding of safety and security measures and use of correct tools and equipment Ability to diagnose and correct mechanical and electrical malfunctions Computer knowledge; use and care of hand and power tools Strong communication, multitasking, and detail‑oriented abilities; maintain a service‑centric, professional and hospitable attitude Ability to work independently and respond to maintenance work orders in a timely manner Essential Functions Maintain facility using consistent preventive maintenance guidelines Perform tasks as assigned: preventive maintenance, repairs, and documentation Keep rooms in optimal condition through timely repairs Keep operating equipment functional through routine checks and repairs Demonstrate familiarity with hotel life‑safety systems; take corrective action for any maintenance or operating problems Handle master key set in accordance with company policy; report hazards or injuries immediately Maintain cleanliness of individual work area; keep supervisor informed of significant issues Perform additional duties as assigned within physical capabilities and property policies Benefits Paid Instantly Paid Time Off Team Member Room Discounts Time and Half for Select Holidays Referral Bonus Program Voluntary Benefits Accident Insurance Disability Insurance Life Insurance Cancer Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Property Specific Incentives Gift Cards Employee Lunches #J-18808-Ljbffr Paragon Hotel Company
