Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will have valuable experience and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
Perform assessments and execute care plans based on patient needs.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Participate in continuing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

Minimum of 12 months combined permanent experience in nursing.
Must possess a valid Ohio nursing license or a Compact State license.
Current certifications: AHA or American Red Cross ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC.
Experience with Epic electronic health records system is required.
One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required.

Additional Information

ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments must be completed during orientation, with acceptable scores required.
Must be flexible to work at least every other holiday.
Shift: Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00).
