Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of clients entering the detoxification program, ensuring a thorough understanding of their history and specific challenges.

  • Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that align with their personal goals and the protocols established at our Detox Center, addressing areas such as substance use, withdrawal symptoms, and co-occurring disorders.

  • Deliver individual counseling sessions and facilitate group therapy, focusing on interventions that promote recovery, resilience, and coping strategies.

  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate client records using our electronic health record system, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with state regulations.

  • Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and nurses, to coordinate and enhance client care effectively.

  • Stay updated on emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in mental health and substance use treatment, integrating this knowledge into your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing substance use disorders and mental health issues related to detoxification. Your expertise will empower clients to navigate the complexities of withdrawal while addressing underlying psychological factors. Being attuned to the unique needs of this patient population, including trauma-informed care practices, will be essential to your success.

Qualifications\n

  • A fully Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) credential in the state of Washington.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in clinical settings, particularly with clients facing addiction and mental health challenges.

  • A strong foundation in mental health treatment theories and modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, that foster trust and connection with clients and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits\n

  • Annual salary range of USD $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and client caseload.
