Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Schedule
7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with options for 4/12's with overtime after 48 hours or 3/12's with overtime after 40 hours.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse delivers quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process. This role involves collaborating with other healthcare team members to maintain professional nursing standards as defined by regulatory guidelines. The nurse will direct, coordinate, and delegate activities to foster patient and family-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
- Plan and implement nursing care tailored to patient and family needs.
- Make appropriate interventions based on individual patient needs.
- Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions.
- Assume personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, and professional development.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 3+ years of experience in Emergency Room nursing - Required
- TNCC or ENPC certification - Required
- BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) - Required
- Active RN license in Michigan - Required
