Seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Technician with experienced proficiency in cardiac catheterization procedures. This role involves providing specialized patient care within a fast-paced, short-term acute care setting, supporting multiple hospital locations. Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Assist clinicians during complex cath lab interventions, including scrub and circulating duties.
- Maintain and ensure proper functioning of cath lab equipment and supplies.
- Adhere to all certification, licensing, and regulatory requirements, including AHA ACLS and BLS.
- Float within scope to meet hospital needs across multiple facilities, maintaining flexibility.
- Complete required modules and compliance training promptly to ensure readiness for assignments.
- Hold current certification or registration as a Cardiovascular Tech (RCVT preferred) or RCIS.
- Show at least 18 months of recent cath lab experience; 2+ years preferred.
- Demonstrate proficiency in EP and catheterization procedures, with scrub technologist expertise.
- Be Nicotine-free with a negative 10-panel drug screen prior to start.
- Possess valid license and guaranteed compliance with facility policies.
- Have reliable references from previous supervisory or management roles.
- Access to continuous education, including mandatory modules and annual competency requirements.
- Opportunity to extend assignment up to 18 months, with potential for further professional development.
