Laboratory Technician I
Scorpion Therapeutics
Role: Laboratory Technician I responsible for the timely and accurate execution of regulated clinical laboratory tests for lung disease diagnosis within a CLIA-certified environment. The role encompasses cross-functional interactions and may involve weekend, holiday, and evening shifts due to the 7-day lab operation. Responsibilities Performing test procedures Data entry into LIMS Equipment maintenance SOP adherence Contributing to audit readiness Supporting continuous improvement initiatives Requirements Bachelor's degree in a laboratory science or related field, with experience in high-complexity testing preferred Technical proficiency with lab equipment such as HPLC, LC-MS, or ELISA is advantageous Strong attention to detail, knowledge of GLP and lab safety, and basic computer skills Preferred Experience in regulated diagnostics Familiarity with HIPAA compliance Prior exposure to molecular testing modalities The role emphasizes quality, accuracy, and compliance in a diagnostics environment focused on lung disease testing. Expected to support CAP/CLIA and state-specific lab standards.
