Assistant Teaching Professor in Supply Chain Management and OperationsThe School of Business at the University of Washington Bothell invites applications for a teaching faculty position at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor in Supply Chain Management and Operations, with an anticipated start date of September 16, 2027. We seek applicants who demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and service in a diverse and inclusive academic community. The successful candidate will join our faculty on a full-time basis (100% FTE) for a 9-month academic, 3-year renewable appointment beginning September 16, 2027. The Assistant Teaching Professor position is not eligible for tenure.The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Operations Management, Business Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence; develop and update courses and curricula that integrate contemporary analytical methods, AI-enabled decision tools, and experiential learning; advise and mentor students; contribute to assessment and assurance-of-learning activities; maintain an appropriate AACSB faculty qualification status; and provide service to the School, the University, the profession, and the community. Teaching faculty at the University of Washington engage in teaching, scholarship, and service, and the successful candidate will be encouraged to pursue pedagogical innovation, applied scholarship, industry engagement, and leadership in curriculum development.Positive factors for consideration include a doctorate from a highly regarded, research-intensive U.S. institution or a comparably strong international institution; expertise spanning Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, and Operations; experience using contemporary analytics and AI tools in instruction; evidence of teaching effectiveness; and relevant industry or applied professional experience.The UW Bothell School of Business is accredited by AACSB and is deeply committed to the success of its faculty in research, teaching, and service.
