Retail Supervisor

Supervises Retail Attendants and schedules hours to have employee coverage during Retail Outlets hours. Cashiering and cash handling. Duties include assisting guests using the Retail Outlets and performing duties as assigned to ensure a safe, clean and efficient operation. Providing excellent Customer Service.

Supervises team members and insures employee coverage during Retail Outlets hours. Cashier and properly handle any receipts. Performs inventories for Retail Outlets as described in Internal Controls. Follow rules set by resort for guest access to Retail Outlets. Clean Retail Outlet areas as needed. Works shifts as needed. Makes eye contact, smiles and greets guests warmly and sincerely. Reports any maintenance or safety issues to maintenance. Assist in the protection of BlueWater Resort & Casino assets, guest property and guest/employee safety by notifying Security of any suspicious or reckless behavior on or near BlueWater Resort & Casino property. Assist with interviews, hire new staff, and provide employee orientation. Assist with employee performance reviews. Follows all BlueWater Resort & Casino Cash Handling Procedures, Safety Procedures and House Rules. Complies with BlueWater Resort & Casino rules and regulations. Complies with Federal, State and Tribal laws. Works in a safe manner; complies with company and OSHA safety regulations. All other duties as assigned (non-gaming functions and issued gaming license permitting).

Ability to work under pressure. Decision-making ability and a sense of responsibility. Ability to analyze and resolve problems quickly, meet deadlines and multitask. Ability to be flexible, decisive, detail-oriented and analytical, have good leadership and communication skills. Ability to maintain professionalism, decorum, and image of the Enterprise and have excellent customer relations and customer service skills with the ability to respond to inquiries or complaints. Ability to maintain confidential information. The ability to handle difficult and challenging situations.

High School or GED equivalent. Minimum Two (2) years Retail experience. Able and willing to work any shift/weekends and/or holidays as assigned. Professional appearance and demeanor is required. Must be accessible via company provided cell phone. Must have CPR/First Aid Training. Must have a valid Driver's License. Must be computer literate, have exceptional writing, editing skills, communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to work well with others.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The team member must occasionally lift and/or moves up to 25 pounds and push, pull, or drags up to 35 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Indoor office environment. This position regularly works indoors but may work outdoors in cold and/or extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is generally quiet to moderate and may become excessively noisy at times. Will have contact with employees, external agencies and the public. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne practices, including second-hand environmental smoke. The noise level in the work environment varies from light to moderate. Flashing lights from slot machines and band lighting.
