Word Therapy, LLC is looking for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide occupational therapy services in Sarasota County Schools .

This is an exciting opportunity for an OT who enjoys working with children and wants the flexibility and independence of a 1099 contractor position , while being supported by an established pediatric therapy company.

What You'll Do:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in assigned schools.
• Evaluate students' functional, developmental, sensory, fine motor, and other occupational therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment strategies.
• Address areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor skills, self-care, and functional participation .
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, school personnel, families, SLPs, and other professionals.
• Participate in IEP meetings and school-based team meetings as required.
• Provide education and recommendations to support students across the school environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Master's or entry-level doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current Florida Occupational Therapist license.
• Pediatric and/or school-based experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sensory processing, fine motor development, and developmental needs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Reliable, professional, and compassionate.
• Enjoys working with children and collaborating with school teams.
