Wellness Manager OpportunityShell Point has a unique opportunity for an experienced Wellness Manager who sees wellness as more than exercise. While this position leads our Fitness team and programming, the role goes beyond traditional fitness management by helping shape a comprehensive approach to wellness and healthy aging for a community of more than 2,400 residents. The Wellness Manager builds partnerships across Shell Point and connects residents with programs and resources that support healthy aging and overall well-being.This hands-on role combines resident engagement, program development, and team leadership. The Wellness Manager works directly with residents to assess individual needs and develop personalized wellness plans using strength and balance assessments, cognitive wellness tools, fitness equipment and technology, group exercise, and other resources. This position also teaches classes, develops and supports staff, identifies new opportunities to enhance wellness programming, and helps lead community-wide initiatives such as Healthspan and Active Aging Week.Our ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of fitness/wellness experience, experience working with older adults, and demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience. Nationally recognized personal training and group exercise certifications and current CPR certifications are required.
