Summary:

Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a L&D RN to take an assignment in Dickson, Tennessee.

**Required/Preferred Experience:** - Labor and delivery experience, including the ability to labor and recover the mother as well as receive and transition the newborn including assessment. - Experience with shoulder dystocia, PP hemorrhage, and other potential OB emergencies preferred. - Advanced skills needed: Fetal monitoring education, experience with inductions (Pitocin, cervidil). **Certifications Required:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - Fetal Monitoring training **Leadership/Clinical Experience:** - The unit has 6 seasoned, very experienced RNs with approximately 30 years of experience each, serving as great resources and preceptors. - Several other nurses have been with the unit for 7-10 years and are also very experienced and competent. **Skills and Qualifications:** - Experience with procedures performed on the unit: C-sections, circumcisions, intra-uterine monitoring, vacuum or forceps assisted deliveries. **Dress Code:** - Pink and/or brown scrubs required per the infant security policy for the unit. **Scheduling and Floating Policy:** - Full-time: 3 shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays. PRN to complete. - Floating: Regular staff expected to float anywhere within the facility as needed. Some staff are cross-trained to float between LDRP & NICU. Note: The unit offers a great way to gain experience in labor, delivery, post-partum, and neonate care due to its LDRP setup.
