Quality Technician

Quality TechnicianThe Quality Technician is responsible for preparing specified product for system inspection; including source inspections, in process and final module & system inspections, specification reviews, scheduling, documentation, etc. This will include in process and final inspection of electronic & electromechanical assemblies in the production department.Hours: Monday -Thursday with rotating Fridays (1-2per month)Start Pay: $22-$24Primary Responsibilities:Responsible for in-process and final inspections of product to verify conformance to specificationsResponsible for interpreting and documenting engineering changes on build documentationResponsible for verification of configuration accuracy and developing configuration summaries; documenting "As Built" configuration to "As Designed" configuration and identifying discrepanciesResponsible for verifying all specified tests have been completed in accordance with specificationResponsible for verifying all nonconformance's have been properly documented and addressedResponsible for communicating to the appropriate groups when nonconformance's are foundResponsible for determining customer specific QA shipping documentation requirements and preparing those documents related to QAResponsible for reviewing contract requirements and verifying they are being metResponsible for understanding source inspection requirements and scheduling source inspection, as requiredResponsible for presenting product and documentation to customer source inspectionResponsible for communicating to the appropriate groups; Production, Sales, QA, etc. when source is scheduled, status of source and any issuesResponsible for storage, tracking and communicating status of product that are in QA possession (source room) waiting for source, shipped in place, etc.Responsible for creating and forwarding appropriate documentation to Sales, QA, customer, etc. as neededResponsible for storage and maintenance of build documentationResponsible for documenting return data in appropriate databases upon return and prior to shipmentKnowledge, skills and abilities strongly preferred include:Must have good verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and the customerMust have working knowledge of IPC-A-610Must be proficient using Microsoft Office SuiteGeneral knowledge of ISO9000Ability to work with minimal guidance and prompting to complete assignmentsPositive attitude with the ability to inspire others and to gain respect from the teamAbility to read assembly drawings and train assemblers on various aspects of product.Requirements Include:High school diploma or GED requiredMust be a US person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident - Green Card Holder)Must have minimum of 2 years electronics industry experienceMinimum of 2 years QA experience in electronics strongly preferredWorking knowledge of military and/or aerospace requirements strongly preferredStand, walk, and sit during the course of a 10 hour shift throughout the day.The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 pounds and up to 75 pounds with assistance.Ability to work Monday - Thursday with rotating / as needed Fridays when required
