Hematology - Oncology Physician
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $388.00 - $420.00

This facility is seeking a Hematology - Oncology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity: 

• Schedule: 2-3 days a week, Monday through Friday (8:00am- 4:30pm)
• Practice Setting: Hybrid (outpatient clinic with inpatient rounding/consults). Inpatient rounding up to 2 hours daily; physician is not required to admit or discharge patients.
• Type of cases and required procedures: Hematology/Oncology patient care; knowledge of National Comprehensive Cancer Network Guidelines (NCCN) guidelines, chemotherapy treatment planning, and emergency response to medication side effects. Average patient volume of 20 patients per day.
• Credentialing timeframe: 45-60 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
• Certifications required: Must be Board Certified
• Licensure required: Must have an active Indiana medical license and Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA) registration (or one that can be easily transferred and remain in Indiana)
