POSITION SPECIFICS Smeal Chaired Professor (Tenure-Track Position) in Organizational Behavior, Organizational Theory, or Strategy Management & Organization Department Smeal College of Business The Pennsylvania State University The Management and Organization (M&O) Department in the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University (University Park, PA) has a full-time tenure-track position in the areas of Organizational Behavior (OB), Organizational Theory (OT), or Strategy. We seek to fill this position at the rank of Full Professor . The position is to fill the Smeal Chaired Professor of Management. The desired start date for the position is Fall 2027. Candidates must have a PhD, a proven track record in conducting high-quality scholarly research with sufficient impact of that work on the field, and demonstrated teaching competence at a high level. Job Requirement : The preferred candidate will have publications in premier journals, a research program with high-impact, and is able to connect with a wide array of doctoral students and faculty in our department. Faculty members in the M&O department are expected to pursue an active research program, perform undergraduate and/or graduate teaching, supervise graduate students, and engage in professional service.
