We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments safely and accurately, in accordance with physician orders and established treatment protocols. The ideal candidate will perform patient verification and treatment safety checks to ensure the highest quality of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments following established protocols.
• Perform patient verification and treatment safety checks including identity confirmation, imaging verification, and treatment timeouts.
• Acquire and evaluate treatment imaging (KV, MV, CBCT) to ensure accurate patient positioning and treatment delivery.
• Review treatment plans and conduct patient chart checks to identify discrepancies and maintain accuracy to prevent treatment errors.
• Provide patient-centered care and education, collaborating with Radiation Oncologists and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate treatment and ensure positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in radiation therapy.
• Minimum of 1 year of travel experience in the field.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC/ARIA.
• Must possess ARRT R(T) certification and maintain an up-to-date state license.
• BLS certification is required.
• Associate of Applied Science in Radiation Therapy is preferred.

This position entails no on-call responsibilities or holiday shifts. Candidates must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility.
