Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:
Provide expert nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes. Collaborate closely with surgical teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality perioperative care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ health status and develop individualized care plans for surgical procedures.
• Maintain sterile environment and ensure adherence to infection control protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes during surgery.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers with procedures and instrumentation.
• Document clinical actions, patient responses, and surgical events accurately.
• Educate patients and families about preoperative and postoperative care instructions.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Proven experience in perioperative or operating room nursing.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and aseptic techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
