Massage Therapist

The Massage Therapist is responsible for providing professional, high-quality massage therapy services to guests in a luxury spa environment. This role focuses on guest well-being, relaxation, and exceptional service while upholding spa standards, safety protocols, and brand expectations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of massage therapies (e.g., Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Hot Stone, Sports, Aromatherapy) in accordance with spa protocols and guest preferences
• Conduct thorough guest consultations to assess needs, preferences, and contraindications
• Maintain a calm, professional, and welcoming environment for all guests
• Uphold cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards in treatment rooms and common areas
• Educate guests on spa services, enhancements, retail products, and wellness recommendations
• Accurately document services rendered and guest feedback as required
• Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled appointments
• Maintain current knowledge of services, treatments, and spa offerings
• Adhere to all company policies, licensing requirements, and ethical standards
• Work collaboratively with spa team members to ensure seamless guest experiences

What are we looking for?

Qualifications

• Valid state massage therapy license (required)
• Minimum of 1 year of professional massage therapy experience preferred
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain professionalism and guest confidentiality
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to perform repetitive motions and exert physical effort throughout shifts
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Compensation: $35 - $45
