Warehouse Operations ManagerSnelling is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager for an established West Texas agricultural organization. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing employees and day-to-day operations across multiple warehouse facilities within approximately 60 miles of Lubbock. We're looking for a dependable, organized leader who can manage people, keep operations running efficiently, and confidently handle the day-to-day challenges of a busy warehouse environment.Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations across multiple warehouse facilitiesSupervise, train, and manage warehouse employeesCoordinate the receiving, storage, inventory, handling, and shipping of cottonMaintain safe, clean, organized, and efficient facilitiesEnforce safety policies and ensure compliance with company and USDA requirementsInspect warehouse facilities, equipment, and fire-protection systemsMonitor staffing, inventory, shipping activity, and maintenance needsCommunicate operational updates and concerns to company managementCoordinate professionally with employees, customers, truck drivers, and vendorsTravel between local facilities as operationally neededQualifications:Previous warehouse supervisory or management experience preferredExperience in warehousing, logistics, distribution, agriculture, cotton, manufacturing, or similar operationsStrong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBasic computer skills and ability to learn inventory and shipping systemsValid driver's licenseAbility to work occasional evenings or weekends during peak cotton seasonPay & Benefits:$60,000 annual salaryDiscretionary year-end bonusCompany-paid employee health insuranceDental and vision coverage availableCompany vehicle and fuel card for business travelMonday–Friday, typically 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.Paid vacation: 5 days after first year; 10 days beginning second yearPaid major holidaysStable, long-term opportunity with an established West Texas organizationAbout Snelling:Locally owned and operated in Lubbock since 1967, Snelling has spent decades connecting exceptional professionals with outstanding career opportunities throughout the Lubbock area.
