Overview The Chief Security Office ensures that all information within Deutsche Bank is properly protected, safeguarding employees, business operations, information assets, and client data against evolving threats. Data protection and information security have been major priorities and growth areas for years. Identity & Access Management focuses on providing secure, timely, and appropriate access to Deutsche Bank assets. Within IAM, a new enterprise‑wide Secrets Management capability is being established to centrally manage credentials used for machine‑to‑machine authentication and authorization. What You’ll Do Plan and develop entire engineering solutions to accomplish business goals. Build reliability and resilience into solutions with appropriate testing and reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle. Ensure maintainability and reusability of engineering solutions. Ensure solutions are well architected and can be integrated successfully into the end-to-end business process flow. Resolve events and complex issues with an awareness of overlapping and different technology areas. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification. Proven experience in software development and integration of a highly available and scalable software product. Proficiency in relevant programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, Go, and shell scripting (Bash or PowerShell); strong understanding of APIs and web services. Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly. Strong DevOps background and an eye for process automation. Understanding of common integration patterns, architectures, and security for SaaS and APIs. Experience in information security, especially identity and access management and secrets management. Experience with cloud‑based infrastructure: GCP (GKE, CloudSQL, CloudMonitoring, etc.), Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift, Terraform, Confluent Kafka, Helm. Knowledge of Deployment – Automation & CI tools such as GIT, BitBucket, Artifactory, Ansible, Maven, Ant, Jenkins, TeamCity, uDeploy. Experience in developing and executing test automation scripts (Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, etc.). Expectations Employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model. Benefits and Compensation Salary range: $100,000 to $153,000 (Cary). Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skill set, experience, education, location, and other qualifications.
