Medical Receptionist

Job Description Job Description The Medical Receptionist will play a vital role at our Specialty Care Center, Private Practice, and Cosmetic Surgery facility by managing patient scheduling and appointment coordination amidst a moderate daily patient volume. This position requires hands-on experience with extensive insurance claims processing and billing assistance, using our custom in-house software. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and able to provide a welcoming environment for patients while handling multiple administrative tasks. On-the-job training will support growth and familiarity with our systems.

Pay Rate: $20-25/hr.

Responsibilities
Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently
Greet and check in patients at the reception desk
Handle phone inquiries and direct calls appropriately
Perform data entry and maintain accurate patient records
Verify patient insurance information and assist with claims
Support billing procedures and resolve related inquiries
Maintain organized and up-to-date files and documentation

Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical reception role

Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Familiarity with medical terminology
Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
