Continuous Improvement Engineer

Join our team at the Marvin Composites plant in Fargo, ND as a Continuous Improvement Engineer. In this role, you’ll work closely with production teams to improve safety, quality, output, and cost effectiveness with a focus on understanding how current processes are performing, identifying gaps, and leading efforts to improve them in a practical and measurable way. This role supports and leads a range of projects based on business needs, from cross‑functional initiatives to smaller improvements that can be implemented quickly. These efforts may include improving production processes, reducing material waste, and increasing throughput. Use data and a structured approach to problem solve and guide decisions, and track results. You’ll spend time working directly with production team members to understand challenges, gather input, and turn ideas into workable solutions. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys solving production related problems and driving improvements. You will work with a variety of teams to identify issues, implement solutions, and lead changes that improve safety, quality, and cost efficiency. Highlights of your role Identify and lead improvement projects that reduce waste and help teams work more efficiently Work with cross‑functional teams to find practical ways to improve processes and lower costs Use data to understand current performance, identify root causes, and support decisions on what to improve Participate in CI boards and help turn team ideas into actionable improvements Create and maintain clear, easy‑to‑follow documentation and help establish best practices that can be repeated and sustained Support teams in testing changes, measuring results, and ensuring improvements are maintained over time You're a good fit if you have (or if you can) Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment Ability to communicate clearly, listen, and build trust with others Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel The ability to read and interpret technical drawings or prints Experience using structured problem‑solving methods to identify root causes, adjust approach, and implement solutions Also want to make sure you have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Industrial Engineering strongly preferred Compensation $68,000 - $105,000 Benefits $300 annual wellbeing account to spend on whatever makes you happy + healthy Better Living Day!
