Mechanical Engineer

Join one of the top Mining and Construction Machinery manufacturing company as Mechanical Engineer to support manufacturing or assembly processes . Position: Entry Level – Mechanical Engineer Duration: 12 Months of contract with high possibility of extension Top pointer: Experience with Assembly or Process Role: Very hands-on exposure to large mining equipment. Unique opportunity to help make improvements in both product and process. Interactions with both manufacturing / facility teams, and engineering teams at both the product and sub-system level. Direct impact on quality of product delivered to customer. Typical tasks: Candidate will be responding to issues on the shop floor. Most time is spent addressing AQE’s that are assigned to engineering and responding to any questions/issues directly from the shop (section managers, auditors, assemblers, and the manufacturing, quality, and supplier quality engineers). Will communicate and collaborate often with the design teams through email and Teams chat/calls/meetings to resolve design issues. Time spent on shop floor and desk varies depending on need. Will partake in weekly AQE, BIQ, and warranty review meetings.
