Seeking a qualified inpatient pharmacist to work night shifts. The candidate must have a minimum of one year of experience. All applicants must hold a valid NM Pharmacy license or be pending acceptance. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and IV are required. Experience with antibiotics, anticoagulation therapy, and inpatient care is essential. Familiarity with clinical dosing, compounding, and high-alert medications is necessary. The pharmacist will manage pediatric and geriatric dosing as well as therapeutic medication monitoring. Responsibilities include performing IV push medications and mixing for TPN. Candidates should be able to operate pharmacy carousel systems and Pyxis. This position involves interaction with a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, and geriatrics. The daily patient census is around 80, with a total of 120 beds in the facility. The pharmacist will collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. Weekend coverage will be required, with shifts structured on a 7 on, 7 off basis. Travelers are expected to float to similar units as needed. Upon signing the contract, candidates must complete necessary compliance requirements promptly. Modules will be required during the onboarding process but are considered non-billable hours.
