Job Activities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, which include physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of health histories
• Assist surgeons in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab findings
• Work in tandem with surgeons to create and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for each patient
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance by setting up operating rooms, ensuring correct patient positioning, and passing instruments efficiently during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including medication delivery, wound management, discharge planning, and educating patients

Qualifications

• A Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations with a surgical focus

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
