Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Position Overview:

MLR Healthcare is seeking a certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our dynamic imaging department. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing nuclear medicine procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Perform a range of nuclear medicine scans, including SPECT and PET imaging.
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
Maintain and calibrate nuclear medicine equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide accurate diagnostic information.
Document procedures and manage patient records in accordance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification is required.
Current state licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Illinois.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
