Quality Inspector

Quality InspectorWage: $27.00-$32.00 per hourShift: 1stHours: 8:00am-4:30pm (Mon-Fri)Quality Inspector Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Perform in-process inspections, first article inspections, PPAP, and customer-defined inspections.Execute quality assurance, quality control, and continuous improvement processes.Support process engineering with capability studies and internal audits.Maintain accurate documentation and inspection records.Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.Train operators on inspection methodology.Perform additional duties as assigned.Quality Inspector Requirements:Strong metrology background (highly preferred).Knowledge of gauging practices including attribute, variable, and transfer gauges.Ability to read blueprints and work with various measurement systems.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Experience entering data and analyzing reports in an ERP system.Strong communication skills and excellent record-keeping.Ability to identify root causes and support continuous improvement initiatives.ASQ Certified Quality Inspector preferred but not required.Regular standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands.Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.Up to 5% travel.About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
