Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients in the ER according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across the assigned shifts; maintain professional and supervisory discretion.
- Coordinate care with other disciplines and services; communicate clearly with patients and family as appropriate.
- Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment to prioritize patient needs and ensure safety and quality of care.

Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse license
- ER nursing experience preferred for travel assignments
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS certification preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced ER environment
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN)
- Willingness to travel to Delano, CA for an 8-week assignment
