Job Details Specialty: ICU / Critical Care Registered Nurse Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job Contract Length: 26 weeks Start Date: 08/31/2026 Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts per week Hours per Week: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250 Location: Geneva, NY 14456 Work Setting: Float pool with coverage across Med/Surg, ICU, and Emergency Department (ED) Additional Scheduling Needs: Holidays, every other weekend, and 2 on-call shifts per 4-week period Job Requirements Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required Minimum 1 year of experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Critical Care nursing BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or RQI ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or RQI PALS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or RQI NIHSS certification Ability to float comfortably between Med/Surg, ICU, and ED units Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Computer literacy and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred Responsibilities Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care in a critical care and float pool environment Provide care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients as assigned Monitor patient status, interpret clinical data, and respond appropriately to changing conditions Support patient care across Med/Surg, ICU, and Emergency Department settings based on staffing needs Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support patient outcomes Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and a strong commitment to teamwork Follow unit standards, safety practices, and age-specific care guidelines Apply now for this ICU Registered Nurse travel opportunity in Geneva, NY, and take the next step in your critical care nursing career.
