Embark on an exciting contract opportunity providing crucial behavioral support in the Lansdale and Pottstown, PA region! This full-time role spans January through March 2027, covering a vital BCBA medical leave and making a meaningful difference across two elementary schools. For professionals with BCBA or LBS credentials, this dynamic position offers rewarding engagement with students and staff, plus the possibility of extending your expertise to supervise RBTs in additional schools if you are a BCBA.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Current certification as a BCBA or Licensed Behavior Specialist
- Experience in educational or school-based settings strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to design and implement effective behavior support plans
- Familiarity with supervising and mentoring RBTs (for BCBA applicants)
- Adaptability and professionalism in dynamic, multi-site environments
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing behavioral assessments and consultation to elementary school teams
- Developing, modeling, and monitoring evidence-based intervention plans
- Training and supporting school staff in positive behavioral strategies
- For BCBA credentialed staff: Supervising RBTs in various school locations as needed
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions for optimal outcomes
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals, school administrators, and family members
- Ensuring compliance with all state, district, and ethical guidelines
