We are seeking an experienced Tax Credit Leasing Agent to join a thriving multifamily community. If you have a strong understanding of affordable housing programs, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for helping residents find their next home, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct apartment tours and effectively present community features and amenities
- Process rental applications and verify eligibility for affordable housing programs
- Ensure compliance with LIHTC (Tax Credit), HUD, and Fair Housing regulations
- Maintain accurate resident files and leasing documentation
- Respond to leasing inquiries and follow up with prospective residents
- Assist with resident retention, lease renewals, and move-in processes
- Support occupancy goals through professional sales and marketing efforts
Qualifications:
- Previous apartment leasing experience required
- Tax Credit/LIHTC experience required
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with Yardi, OneSite, ResMan, AppFolio, or similar property management software preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
- Professional, customer-focused attitude
