VP Sports Finance

Our client is a globally recognized credit rating agency with a well-established project finance and infrastructure practice. The team rates a broad range of transactions across energy, transportation, social infrastructure and, increasingly, the sports and venue sector. This is a newly dedicated VP seat focused on sports finance. It's a rare chance to become the go-to credit voice on stadium, arena and venue-related financings as institutional capital continues to pour into the space, while sitting within a team that has the platform and deal flow to back it. The Role You'll lead the credit analysis and rating of sports-related project finance and infrastructure transactions from initial review through to committee and ongoing surveillance. Key responsibilities include: Leading credit analysis on new sports finance transactions, including stadium, arena and venue infrastructure financings Building and reviewing cash flow models, stress scenarios and transaction structures to support rating recommendations Presenting analysis and recommendations to rating committee and writing published rating rationales and sector commentary Acting as a key point of contact for issuers, bankers and investors, and helping grow the firm's presence in the sports finance market What We're Looking For 4+ years of experience in project finance, from a rating agency, bank, advisory firm or investor Direct exposure to sports finance, ideally infrastructure-related transactions such as stadium, arena or venue financings Strong credit and cash flow modeling skills, with a solid understanding of project finance structures and documentation Clear, confident communicator able to defend a credit view in committee and with external market participants #J-18808-Ljbffr JCW Group
